1970 German post office van, for example). I’ll have some photos up on the Web site soon.

The good news is that our hobby remains strong. People are passionate about old cars.

But these car shows aren’t just about looking – they are about enjoying your ride. Get out your classic and get behind the wheel – don’t die with it in your garage – live with it and enjoy it!

We have an action-packed meeting planned for you this Wednesday – please attend. We’ll talk about our upcoming events and a special presentation on the GTOAA/POCI Nationals, along with the recent “Tour De Wangers.” Club vice president Charlie Miler will be officiating.

Don’t forget our “Adopt-a-Highway” outing on Oct. 31. Special thanks to Tim and June Smith for taking over the reins from Dave and Brooke Campbell. If you haven’t done this special public service before, come out

next weekend. Do your share to help keep one of our favorite roads clean of garbage. More details on Wednesday.

If you want to keep in touch with what the Club has planned, tune into our Web site, www.cactusgto.com.
